The Poverty BarnThe Poverty Barn

Central New Jersey

The Poverty Barn uses reclaimed wood to make artful shelves, hat racks, organizer racks, jewelry racks and more! Through her business, Marie is providing an example of living with nature and sustainability in mind. She only uses the highest quality reclaimed wood. Living in a densely populated area, such as Central NJ, there is never a shortage of really good wood being thrown out. She enjoys scouting the new construction site dumpsters in her area, the crown molding scraps alone make it dumpster diving at its finest. After properly sourcing her reclaimed wood, she power-washes and cuts the large shipping pallets down to workable, easy to store sizes. This allows her to have a constant supply of 50+ pallets on hand. She loves custom orders and will collaborate with you to create something truly amazing!
